Edible Estates Competition

Supporting food growing on London’s housing estates

In June 29th 2010 we launched the Edible Estates Competition at City Hall with the Mayor of London.  The aim was to encourage more residents of housing estates to start their own food growing spaces. The competition has produced great results, including four Housing Associations committing to supporting new food growing spaces on their housing estates, and a total of 40 communities participating in the competition.

Capital Growth would like to thank all the participants for their efforts in developing these food growing spaces.  You are all winners!
