The annual London Permaculture Festival is a one day grassroots event that attracts around 700 people who come to learn about how the ethical design science of permaculture can offer sustainable, regenerative green solutions to different areas of modern life. Each year we host about 20 workshops, delivered by experts in their field. These broadly cover, as illustrated by his Permaculture Design System Flower, what permaculture co-originator David Holmgren has identified as, ‘the key domains that require transformation to create a sustainable culture.’

After 2 years hiatus due to Covid, the festival is back for 2022. Come along from 11am-6pm on Sunday 24 July at Cecil Sharpe House for workshops (intro and advanced), ‘how-to’ sessions, a stalls market and a ‘families at the festival’ zone. Enjoy discussions, networking and learning about creative solutions for a sustainable, healthy future.

This introductory in-person workshop on urban permaculture with Permablitz London designer, teacher and organiser, Susannah Hall, will take place at 2pm in the Commitee Room at Cecil Sharpe House on Sunday 24 July.

All workshop tickets cost £10/£5 concessions • Under 18s go free • All workshop info here
