To achieve this Capital Bee has created 50 community apiaries for bee hives around London, training 50 new beekeepers, and promoting bee-friendly behaviour. Capital Bee is asking Londoners to support their local beekeepers and bees by growing plants that bees like, finding alternatives to garden pesticides, and opting for organic choices where possible. In some ways we are all beekeepers because while the beekeeper might keep the bees, it’s Londoners who feed them, so all out door spaces can become bee-friendly spaces. It only takes a few simple changes to help.
