Capital Growth

What's the big idea?

We support people to grow food in London, whether at home, on allotments or as part of a community group.

Capital Growth is a partnership initiative between London Food Link, the Mayor of London Boris Johnson, and the Big Lottery's Local Food Fund. It is championed by the Chair of the London Food Board Rosie Boycott and supported the creation of 2012 new community food growing spaces across London by the end of 2012.
Capital Growth now offers practical help, training and support to people wanting to grow their own food, whether at home, on an allotment or as part of a community group.

What can Capital Growth offer you?

Capital Growth offers in-kind support to people who grow their own food in London, including providing access to discounted training at our Regent’s Park allotment, networking events, support with growing to sell and discounts on equipment.  Any ideas or offers of support, of course, are most welcome, especially from people with specialist expertise.
