Learn all about composting: a Permablitz to install new composting systems at Calthorpe Community Garden
Calthorpe Community Garden, Kings Cross
17 Jan 2026 | Accredited training | Event
Our goal is to significantly improve the garden’s compost systems and deliver educational workshops about composting for the community.
This Permablitz will focus on a major upgrade to the composting system by building nine new compost bays using recycled pallets. This will double our current capacity and significantly improve the working flow of the existing system, allowing the garden to process much more garden waste efficiently.
RSVP Essential.
