Do you know the difference between the anatomy of a wasp and a bee? How about a butterfly and a moth? You will learn in this webinar how to identify insects to (at least) their Order classification. This also means that you will be able to identify insects according to CEH’s Pollinator Monitoring Scheme. Alongside this, Issy will make available a quiz for you to do before the webinar and one after the webinar, so you test out your new knowledge!

The Buzz Club is a citizen science club created by a group of scientists from the University of Sussex. Their experiments bring together gardeners and volunteer scientists of all ages to answer important questions about the creatures we share our outdoor spaces with.

You will also get to learn all about the Buzz Club’s upcoming projects and how you can get involved with insect conservation in your own gardens!
