Join us to learn all about mushroom cultivation and leave ready to recreate the results at home! Oyster mushrooms are not only delicious and nutritious but also one of the easiest types of mushrooms to grow- making this workshop perfect for beginners.

In this workshop, you will learn all about:

  • The lifecycle of mushrooms and their role in ecological systems and society.
  • The materials and tools needed to grow your own mushrooms.
  • How to create the ideal environment for growing successful mushrooms crops.

About your trainer: Pamela Shor

Pamela is the Head Grower at Black Rootz and founder of Mycelium Minds and The Seed Protectors. They are an enthusiastic horticulturist, community advocate and urban grower dedicated to building sustainable communities through innovative practices in agroecology, mycology, and permaculture.
