A free community event open to the public in The Castle Climbing Centre garden.
12-4pm.
We'll have our large press out for action, for pressing apples and pears gleaned from our own orchard and from local private trees.
Join in with chopping, scratting and pressing -- and we'll also have fresh cups of juice for sale with all donations going to the National Food Service London.
All welcome (garden is accessible), but visitors will need to sign in at reception.

We will bring together case studies, interested individuals & active recorders to explore best ways of recording wildlife & find out what happens to the data. Fabric Bundle Dyeing Nature Connection Workshop

Connect with the seasonal plants around you through exploration of the art of bundle dyeing - natural colour printing.
This three-hour guided workshop will take you on an introductory foraging walk of seasonal plants in a permaculture garden setting, and instruct you in the practice of making prints onto textiles using plants, flowers, food waste and metal.

Becoming a buddy is an opportunity to gain skills and hands-on experience in support work and social and therapeutic gardening. The Buddy training is a free two day training combined with some online learning. Please apply by the 21st October.
Our ecotherapy program supports people with mental health recovery needs such as depression, anxiety and isolation. Buddies help to create a friendly and welcoming environment, enabling everyone to participate fully.
