10-week Gardening Fundamentals evening course with EcoLocal

We have an exciting new gardening course at EcoLocal. Our RHS qualified and award-winning Horticultural tutor has developed a 10-week classroom-based evening course called ‘Gardening Fundamentals’ that takes you through the full range of gardening activities, from looking after and improving soil to pruning, propagation, design and keeping plants healthy. This new course will run on a Thursday evening between 7 and 9pm for 10 consecutive weeks between 22nd January and 26th March 2026.

Our Certificate in Community Orcharding course combines high quality online learning with 7 action-packed, face-to-face training days. Running February 2026 - August 2026 at various venues across London, you'll learn the skills necessary for effective orchard management, particularly of veteran trees. This Level 3 course is accredited by Crossfields Institute and involves practical as well as written assessments. Cost: £880 concessionary/£1230 general admission. Monthly payments available
